About me

Hello! I am Juan Jesús Quintero, a musician born in Conil de la Frontera, Cádiz. Since I was very young, music has been my passion and my life. At the age of nine, I formed my first group, Taro, where I played improvised drums with Moroccan tantans.

My academic training includes being a teacher in the specialty of music and a guitar teacher at the conservatory. In addition, I have taken numerous courses at the universities of Córdoba, Seville and Cádiz, always seeking to expand my musical knowledge. However, I also consider myself self-taught, as I have always had a deep interest in exploring and understanding music in all its facets.

Throughout my career, I have combined teaching with live performances, performing in various locations in Spain and Germany. My musical style fuses Andalusian rock, jazz and flamenco, a mix that is reflected in my album "Mergablo".

In addition to live performances, I dedicate myself to composing, editing and mixing music from my studio in Conil. You can listen to my works on platforms like Spotify, where you will find albums like "tiene mil canciones" and "Mergablo", as well as several recent singles.
